The goals came in the first and second half. Matt Taylor scored in the 39th minute as Johan Elmander scored in the 86th minute. The Englishman Matt Taylor had his first goal of the season. The start was defensive as the game went without a shot until the 16th minute. Matt Tayor took the spotlight as he was the designer and scorer

The score doesn't reflect West Brom's opportunities as Tchoyi had a chance and his shot went wide. James Morrison's chip to Odemwingie beat the trap of the defense  and he lost his footing to shoot the ball wide from only eight yards out. The left side of the field was open for Tchoyi but the Cameroonian could not find his shot. He has scored four goals on the season with his accurate shooting.

The American Stuart Holden stepped up to take a 20 yard shot and was on track for the net until West Brom's goalie Carson flung himself to deflect the ball.

This is what Bolton's manager Owen Coyle said about the match, " West brom were terrific, they had some great chances to score but they didn't take them. We scored two good goals in the game and we could have had a couple more ourselves. We had to defend with out lives at times, we stood up and it's great to get a clean sheet. It was a different type of performance but it's pleasing to get the three points."

     Tomorrow Arsenal will host Chelsea.
